The Puroclean team has been in the mitigation restoration business for over 16 years. Our technicians are
certified and trained on the classifications of losses that they work in. Supervisor technicians are also
available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Each Puroclean office is independently owned and operated with leaders in the industry and management
teams. Our goal at MRS (Mitigation/Retoration Services) is to provide you with a professional, knowledgeable

Extreme Mold mitigation procedures are generally set by a professional hygienist to determine the protocol for
complete mitigation. Each team member takes the mitigation of mold and the potential hazards seriously and

technology and innovative equipment that reduce claims loss ratios as well as decrease the time and or space

They came into about 6 inches of standing water in my basement, used a shop vac to suck up the water, and
placed fans on every wall to dry it down. They and I thought it was dry about 5 days later and the removed
their 5 years later I was enjoying a conversation with my teenage daughter in the lower level of the house,
because this was her space, when I looked at her walls and it looked like salt pushing out of paneling. I had
brick foundation, insulation, sheetrock and paneling half way up the wall on the lower half over the sheetrock.
All of this material was infested with mold and I had no idea. My daughter was an active soccer player and
loved socializing. That year she had every cold and every flu, and had came down with mono. I am not a
doctor and I can not tie all of that to the mold but I know it did not help.
When I started to remove the paneling that is when I found the mold was everywhere behind our visual sight.
It took 18 months, approximately $30,000 and learning many new skills to get my lower level cleaned and
really dry. My training started then (late in the 20 century), with removing paneling, sheetrock, flooring and
studs.... all the way to sandblasting my walls. I was a single parent with a great job but very limited time or
money and much less knowledge of what needed to be done.
My true goal is to not let that happen to anyone else. Water has a mind of its own and will take the path of
least resistance whether you know that path or not. Once water and sheetrock mix and you have any traffic
or an open window on your property.... mold can find the moisture and make a home.
I still have my home, it has no carpet in the lower level, rugs are dispose of regularly and a dehumidifier is
running all year round to keep the structure dry. Now I continue to learn about the industry, I work with the
professionals in the industry to provide you with the best care we can give, using the technology available
today to test for moisture.
I believe that God placed me on that plane to Florida to PuroSystems Inc to purchase this franchise to help
others. I had no money to speak of but a passion to help in a growing industry. We do not handle
construction, plumbing, electrical, or duct work cleaning but we will provide you with a list of people that are
professionals in those areas of expertise. Our team is trained in water restoration, mold removal, fire
restoration and trauma scene clean up.
